Dale Carnegie came to us to bring their web presence & course finder to a best-in-class level. This website is used globally and had to accommodate 32 languages. That presented a new challenge for me as I had to design for such a wide audience.
My biggest challenge was designing the full UX flow of the course finder. Taking something so complex and making it easy to use for a global audience.
My Creative Process
My approach to this project was to expand my design mind into a global focus. I see pictures and feelings in my mind and I’ve learned how to use this to my advantage in my work. My process is to “feel” my way through many similar experiences. Gathering the best ideas and inspirations from each. Then using this visual inspiration to create something unique.

UX for a Global Audience
We spent weeks working through User Testing. My prototypes and designs were presented to all the franchises around the globe as well as the corporate stakeholders. This research was crucial in making many of the final decisions for the course finder flow.

Close Relationship Between UX & Engineering
I have strong feelings that UX design needs to stand by engineering 100% of the project. During the development of the site, I was a part of the full QA & launch process. Reviewing all new sections and providing feedback to ensure pixel perfect work. Over the years I have l learned how to speak the “Engineering” language and it aids me in every project. This project was no different.
I am proud to say as of today, the Course Finder has been a success in all markets.
